Attorney Michael Burke obtained an order dismissing negligence-based claims against a general contractor.  The Plaintiff alleged that the general contractor’s duty of care extended to areas beyond the construction zone.  In dismissing the case, the court found that Plaintiff failed to put forth evidence necessary to support his claims and reaffirmed that a construction company’s duty of care does not include areas beyond the construction zone.  Johnson v.
